Yport
Yport Yport is a beautiful coastal village located in the Seine-Maritime department of Normandy. It is known for its picturesque harbour, sweeping views of the English Channel, and its historic monuments. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your visit to Yport.
First, plan your route. Yport is nestled between the towns of Fecamp and Etretat, and is easily accessible by car or train. If you are arriving by train, you may want to consider renting a car so you can explore the area more.

We visited the village in early June. It was midweek and the French dinner break the reason for the lack of people in the photos

At the moment French churches are mainly unlocked. So we always like to have a walk round the inside this one is in very good condition
The village is about halfway between Fecamp and Etretat and 10miles from the bridge Pont de Normandie
The beach is very similar to Etretat with white pebbles a high cliff and fishing boats on the beach. Plus some beach huts there is a car park on the sea front.
Yport is set in a wooded cove with narrow street. There is a Casino several good restaurants and artist studios.We saw a couple of people painting beach scenes
We spent a couple of hours wandering round the old streets and on the beach. Including a visit to a local cafe for coffee and a piece of cake.
We were sorry to leave but we still had Etretat to see and get back for the family BBQ at our Gite 50 miles away. We saw a couple of Bed and breakfast guest house on our walk round you could stay at.
Just a short update
We have just revisited the resort it is hard to believe that it was 7 years since we were last here.There have been a few improvements without spoiling the village.Narrow street to the beach
