Welcome to Beaux Souvenirs, a superb gite brand new to the market for 2018.

Part of a 19th century stone built coach house with a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees and flowering plants surrounding a magnificent swimming pool.

It’s located at the heart of a national county park in the Perigord Vert, the Northern region of the beautiful Dordogne. So aptly named for the greenery of its forests and meadows, rivers and rolling hills. The village of Miallet is one of its prettiest traditional villages and the property is just a few minutes’ walk from the quaint village square. Here can be found a superb butcher who also sells local produce and bread, a small grocery shop with off licence and a cheese counter. There is a chemist, doctor and physio, a newsagents selling stamps and a small selection of British newspapers. The L’Oreal hairdresser speaks a little English, and why not dine at the bistro or the brasserie where you can sit outside under trees and listen to the occasional band on a Saturday night.
Beaux Souvenirs has secure parking and its own entrance and separate exit to the garden.

The interior decor is an eclectic blend of old and new, vintage and modern, offering an interesting twist to the building's traditional features. The large, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has plenty of room to chill out after a long day, and the smart TV is perfect for catching up on all your favourite programmes.
Upstairs there are two lovely double bedrooms with very comfortable sprung king-size beds. On the ground level, enjoy the gorgeous bathroom with twin vanity units, toilet, and spacious walk-in shower. Included for your convenience are quality bedlinen, bathrobes, towels and pool towels too.

The French doors in the kitchen lead to a shaded patio with an outside table, lounging chairs, and barbeque. The 12m x 6m in-ground swimming pool is exclusively for the use of guests. With crystal clear air and sky at night full of stars, our gite is a perfectly placed for both location and to completely unwind.

Nearby there are numerous chateaux, gardens and beautiful villages to visit. Caves, prehistoric art and Roman history is in abundance. Plus the beautiful medieval cities of Limoges and Perigueux are well worth a visit. Just outside the village lies the ‘Barrage de Miallet’ a huge man-made lake surrounded by a nature reserve with a 9km circular walk.

The area is also one of the best places in France to be if you are a food lover. Discover local museums dedicated to Fois Gras and the world famous black truffle.
