Our visit to Paris to see as much as possible in a short 3 day visit.If you are only there for a few days you need to plan before you go what you want to see.

Local Attractions in Paris The Eiffle Tower

The most recognisable symbol of Paris is the 324 metre (1,063 ft) Eiffel tower on the banks of the Seine.

You can go to the top in the lift, big queues at peak times. The view of Paris is well worth the long wait .

The view from the observation platform, especially at dusk, more than exceeds any expectations. All of Paris shines below as the city is illuminated by both the street lights and the fading sun.

If this is your first trip to Paris try the hop-on hop-off bus tour which visit most of the main points of interest in the City it is run by Les Cars Rouges. You can get on the bus at Quai Branly, in front of Bridge of Iéna.We have used the Paris pass which as most of the places of interest.

The Métro was opened on 19 July 1900 The system has 199 km (124 miles) of track It is one of the best ways to get around Paris.

Paris has one of the best antique markets in Europe just on the outskirts at Les Puces de Saint-Ouen Address: 48, rue Jules Vallès (Marché des Antiquaires), 93400 Saint-Ouen (between the Porte de St-Ouen and Porte de Clignancourt, just outside 18th arrondissement) This is on every weekend and attracts large crowds. It is the largest market I have been to the area is full of stalls and shops selling antiques and bric-a-brac.

Built originally as a windmill, this world-famous cabaret was transformed into a dance hall in 1889.

Montmartre is a historic area on the Butte, home to the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur.
