Olhain is a village in the Pas de Calais region of France, about 20 miles from the city of Lille.

The village is located in the heart of the Olhain Regional Natural Park, which has plenty of hiking trails and picnic spots for visitors to enjoy.

The Olhain Forest: The forest is a stunning natural area that offers hiking trails and bike paths. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through the woods and enjoy the scenery.

The Olhain Abbey: The abbey is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It dates back to the 12th century and features stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.

The Olhain Golf Club: For golf enthusiasts, the Olhain Golf Club offers a challenging course with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Olhain

Le Chateau d Olhain was built by the Count of Flanders, Robert II, who was also known as Robert the Frisian. Over the centuries, the castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times until it eventually fell into ruins. Today, visitors can still see the remains of the castle, including the outer walls and the keep. The castle ruins are a popular destination for tourists,

You can visit the castle on Sunday afternoons at 3pm in the summer months.

Like most of France parking in the village is not a problem if you want to walk round the village.
