Les Hirondelles, Chabanol..a very spacious gite at the heart of the beautiful countyside of the Auvergne

If you want a relaxing holiday or the chance to explore the beautiful area of the Auvergne with its many attractions, a stay at les Hirondelles is a must.

From our large garden there are stunning views across the Allier valley to the Sancy mountains. The countryside and garden abound with birds, flowers, insects & wildlife which make this area a nature lovers dream.

For walkers there are well marked paths which leave from our drive, and there are VTT routes & bikes for hire nearby.

A pretty plan d`eau (10 mins drive) gives opportunities for swimming. Issoire, Clermont Ferrand, Puy en Velay & Vichy are within easy driving distance, as are the Sancy mountains with 2 ski resorts, spa towns, Vulcania & Puy de Dome.

The gite has, on the ground floor, a well equipped kitchen,a very large living room with dining area. There is & plenty of room to sit & relax in front of the big fireplace, which has a wood burning stove.

The salle d`eau (shower, WC & washbasin) is on the ground floor.From the living room french windows open onto the terrace, garden & BBQ area.

Upstairs there is a big bedroom with a double bed & 1 or 2 single beds and a mezannine room with 3 single beds.
