Le Petit Arlequin gite offers stylish self-catering accommodation for 2 to 4 people in a beautiful location

It is situated in the bastide town of Duras, in the department of Lot et Garonne, Aquitaine, South West France, within 300 metres of The Chateau and the town centre.

The gite provides a comfortable base to explore the vineyards, chateaux, UNESCO World Heritage sites, caves and numerous attractions of the Lot-et-Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde departments of Aquitaine in Southwest France.

Alternatively, you can relax in the garden and take a short stroll to one of the great local restaurants when you are hungry. The gite is a smoke-free home.

Local facilities are excellent with a good selection of restaurants and cafes and artisan shops. There is a good sized supermarket with 24 hour petrol station and a weekly market.

Although the property is centrally situated, the large rear garden looks out onto open countryside with beautiful views. A 12m swimming pool will be available for 2016 but there is currently a small above ground pool, great for cooling off in on hot days!

The property is single storey, apart from access to the utility room which is down a short flight of stairs. It was completely refurbished in 2015 with the addition of a new hi spec designer kitchen.

It has a large bedroom with French doors to the patio and a sofa bed in the lounge to accommodate up to 4 people, if required. There is a good sized shower. The utility room has a washing machine and a second fridge, affectionately referred to as the beer fridge!

There is a TV, with French channels, and a Blu-Ray DVD player (a large selection of DVDs is available for use). Free wi-fi is included as are bed linen and towels.

The friendly English owners, who speak basic French, live next door and are generally available whenever needed, although a large expanse of garden in between the properties affords a good level of privacy
