We would like to share with you this lovely part of the Loire Valley typified by its gentle countryside and easy way of life.
Rich in culture and steeped in history this bountiful region is also known as the Garden of France offering wonderful food and wine.
La Maison du Jardin is a restored 18th century stone farmhouse situated in our lovely country garden in a small quiet farming hamlet just outside the village of Valanjou amid the soft green pastures of the Layon valley dotted with picturesque villages and vineyards.
Perfect for two, the house has a pretty south facing front garden with table and chairs where you can sit in privacy and dine al fresco or just relax or read and enjoy the tranquility …..with a glass of wine of course!
La Maison du Jardin is approx 35 mins south of Angers and equidistant from Cholet and Saumur in the department of Maine-et-Loire.
At the back of the house there is a large grassy area surrounded by natural hedgerows and the drive leading up to the back door for easy unloading and safe parking.
