Isigny sur Mer is a small market town on the D613.The town earns it money from dairy products butter cheese and cream. It's a great destination for tourists looking to explore the rich history of Normandy and experience the culture and traditions of the region.

We passed through the town several times from our base for the week at Grandcamp Maisy a few miles away.The town makes a good base for visiting some of the D-Day sites.The town was badly damage in the D-Day battles.

We had a walk round Isigny sur Mer on a Wednesday morning when the market is held.They also have one on Saturday. We brought a chicken from the street BBq for dinner.
