The town centre of Fouesnant
Fouesnant is a nice modern town about 3 miles from the old mill house. We had rented for a couple of weeks.The town is ideal if you like sandy beaches and small fishing ports.Some of the best beaches in Brittany are only a few miles from the town.
The town has a good mix of shops cafes and restaurants. A guide to places to eat out in the town.There is a good market on Friday morning in the main square. On the edge of town is a large supermarket.Like most French towns there is plenty of free parking

1. Les Îles Glénan: These stunning islands are just a short boat ride away from Fouesnant. Visit the tiny islands for a day of snorkeling, sunbathing, and exploring the beautiful scenery.
2. La Pointe de Beg Meil: A short drive away from Fouesnant, this stunning point offers incredible views of the sea. Hike the trails, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the incredible views of the ocean.
3. La Forêt de Carnoët: This is one of the most beautiful forests in Brittany. Enjoy walking or biking the trails, and take in the beauty of the old trees and the wildlife that inhabits them.
