The old town of Cremieu France
Cremieu is a medieval town not far from the city of Lyon about 25 miles away.
The town is surrounded by its original stone walls. There are a lot of interesting buildings to see.
The town gates the market hall and the town hall which used to be a 16th century convent.
Also the 12th century Delphinial chateau or what is left of it.
Cremieu
The town has a good market every Wednesday morning. Where you can buy local produce.
In the town you will find a good mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
There are several campsites in the area or you can stay at the many hotels and bbs.

The area around Cremieu has several lakes and some underground caves.
This region is a good place to visit if you like walking there are miles of marked paths to follow.
It is also popular for mountain biking.
Places to visit in and around the town
