Places to visit Cap Blanc Nez it is worth the detour just for the view
Cap Blanc Nez is one of two headlands on the Cote d Opale.The other is Cap Gris Nez you can find the details on another page on the website.
These stunning white cliffs offer breathtaking views over the English Channel and are a popular spot for hiking and birdwatching. Visitors can take a leisurely walk along the cliff-top paths and enjoy the stunning scenery, or simply sit and watch the waves crashing against the rocks below.
In photo one you can see the monument at the top of the cliff.
There was quite a lot of sea mist when we took the picture.
Cap Blanc Nez
The Dover Patrol Memorial which was destroyed by the German Army in 1940 / 1941 and rebuilt in 1974

In photo you can see some of the great views from the cliff down the beach.
There is a public walk you can take along the cliffs.
You could park your car close to the edge and then take the path up to the top.You can still walk to the top but the car parking as been improved.There are several new marked path to follow a lot of money as been spent on the site

If you have plenty of energy you can walk the 1/2 mile to the top.
Like the people in the third photo but it is a steep climb.
If not you can drive to the top to the other car park just 50 yards from the top.
The view is well worth the trip.
