Bon Repos Gites - Great Location in the Heart of Brittany
by Colin
(Gouarec)
Finished and furnished to a high standard
Our two sympathetically renovated gîtes have been lovingly restored, retaining lots or original character such as exposed feature A-frames, some exposed stone walls and a vaulted ceiling.
Both gites are fully equipped and well furnished to provide you with a comfortable home away from home. We offer you spacious, well-appointed bases where you and your family and friends can enjoy a relaxing French holiday.
The gîtes can be booked separately or together. The Stable is ideal for couples and is packed full of traditional character and modern conveniences. Also appointed to a high standard is The Barn, which is ideal for a family or two couples holidaying together.
The Stable sleeps 3 people in 2 bedrooms (plus a cot, if required); the Barn can sleep 6 in three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin room). Ideal for couples and families wishing to kick-back and visit Brittany’s many tourist attractions at their own pace.
Situated in over an acre of mature gardens surrounded with magnificent tall trees where you can, depending on the season, take your pick of figs, cherries, apples, pears, plums, walnuts and hazelnuts. Or just relax with a good book under the shade of one of the centennial oaks.
We are surrounded by rolling green hills and quiet wooded valleys and the local area abounds with ancient monuments, old churches and historic medieval towns. This part of Brittany is a gift for walkers and cyclists, bird watchers and nature lovers. Empty footpaths, flower-filled pastures, hidden valleys and lush woodland abound. It really is a place in which to breathe out.
We are close to many popular family friendly days out and both the north and south coasts are within an hour’s drive thus giving you the best of all worlds.
Choosing to stay with us at Bon Repos Gites lets you experience the laid-back attitude that exists in this beautiful part of France.
