Arromanches les bains Normandy
Arromanches les bains is a small fishing town, located on the coast of Normandy and directly overlooking the English Channel. Visitors to the town can explore the remains of the Mulberry Harbour which was built during World War II by the Allies. This unique harbour was constructed in just a few days and played a major role during the invasion of Normandy.
The town of Arromanches les bains is also home to a number of beautiful beaches, with stunning views of the English Channel. Visitors can take a stroll along the beach, take a dip in the sea, or simply relax and admire the stunning views.
The town is also home to a number of museums, such as the D-Day Museum, which pays homage to the events of June 6th, 1944, when the Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy. There is also the Musée des Arromanches, which showcases the events of the Operation Overlord and the Battle of Normandy.
The town also offers a number of great restaurants, cafes and bars, where you can sample some of the local cuisine. Finally, visitors to Arromanches les bains can enjoy a number of outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking, as well as water sports such as sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. A trip to Arromanches les bains in Normandy is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

The town was part of Gold beach in WWll D Day landings. People come to see the remains of the Mulberry Harbour it was designed for a short lifespan. There is still a lot of it left after 65 years.You can park in the town centre right outside the D Day museum. From there you can walk along the sea wall or go down to the beach. The area round the car park has the usual tourist shops, cafes and bars. Places to eat and guide to prices.
